COMPTROLLER LIU, LABOR LEADERS AND CLERGY CALL ON BANKS TO HELP NEW YORKERS FACING FORECLOSURE

New York City Comptroller John C. Liu, joined by community leaders, the presidents of many of the city's largest labor unions, and New Yorkers facing foreclosure on their homes, will call on the city's largest banks to take steps to reform
the loan modification process to prevent unnecessary foreclosures and help struggling New Yorkers to stay in their homes.
